Conexus
overview
Betta Webs moved Conexus MedStaff, an international healthcare recruitment firm placing nurses and medical technologists into US hospitals, off a custom-built CMS onto HubSpot. The new site launched in March 2026 as an MVP: a smaller set of core pages, a fresh design, and a structure built around who was actually arriving.
how we work
On one side, US hospitals and long-term care providers, where the buyer is a Chief Nursing Officer or an HR director trying to fill critical vacancies. On the other, registered nurses and medical technologists in the Philippines, India, Kenya, Nigeria and the Gulf, deciding whether to move their family to another continent.
A Chief Nursing Officer in Tennessee and a nurse in Manila need opposite things from the same homepage. One wants evidence of a reliable staffing partner. The other wants to know whether they qualify and what happens next.
So the homepage has two front doors. Applicants and employers split immediately, and everything past that point is written for one of them. A large share of the applicant audience reads English as a second language, so the copy stays short and the navigation carries the weight.
Applying to work abroad isn't a single decision, it's a sequence that takes months, and people arrive part-way through it.
Cutting the site back to an MVP meant deciding which pages that sequence actually needs. Your Journey explains the route end to end. Applicants covers eligibility. Support Services handles visas, licensing and relocation. Your Application is where it happens. Someone arriving with an NCLEX pass already in hand enters at a different point from someone still in training, and both find theirs.
A nurse is weighing emigration on the strength of what the website tells her, in a market with plenty of misinformation in it. A hospital is deciding whether to trust an international staffing partner with critical roles.
So the trust material is load-bearing. Accreditations and awards get their own space. The people at Conexus appear with names and photographs. Nothing either audience needs to check sits more than a click from where they need it.
The application is a pathway. Candidates select their route first, then complete the application that matches it. Nobody fills in fields that don't apply to them.
SEO migration was out of scope on this project, so what follows is what the rebuild delivered on its own.
Organic sessions averaged 3,430 a month across April and May, the first two full months after launch, and 4,582 across July and August. That is a rise of 34%.
