Unlimited design requests and unlimited revisions, from one senior designer who learns your brand and stays on it. £1,750 a month, no contract, live within a week.
INTRODUCTION
Design work doesn't arrive in neat packages. One week it's campaign assets. The next it's a sales deck, a landing page banner, an exhibition stand.
None of the usual answers fit that shape:
So design becomes the bottleneck, or the quality slips to keep things moving.
Every week that continues, your sales deck stays three versions behind and someone who shouldn't be doing it spends an evening in Canva.
Design demand is real but uneven. Some months are flat out, some are quiet, and a salary doesn't flex with that.
Every new brief becomes a negotiation, and the revision rounds are capped.
The pitch comes from a senior, then whoever was free does the work.

An unlimited design subscription service is a fixed monthly fee for ongoing design work, submitted through a shared board and delivered one task at a time instead of quoted per project. Betta Webs charges £1,750 a month plus a one-off £750 onboarding, for unlimited requests and unlimited revisions with one active task at a time.
The active task limit is the part people miss. Unlimited means you can queue as much as you like. It doesn't mean everything happens at once.
Design Partner is £1,750 a month, Design Partner Plus is £3,000, and brand onboarding is a one-off £750 before either starts. So month one is £2,500. Both plans are monthly rolling with no contract, and you can pause any time.

| What changes | Design subscription | Full-time hire | Traditional agency |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cost | £1,750/month | Roughly £4,000 to £5,400/month all in | £3,000 to £10,000+ per project |
| Time to start | Live within a week | Weeks to recruit, then onboarding | Weeks of scoping and contracts |
| Revisions | Unlimited, no extra cost | Limited by one person's hours | Often capped, extra rounds billed |
| Who does the work | Head of Design, every time | Whatever level you can afford | Junior often assigned, senior oversees |
| Flexibility | Pause any time, no notice, days banked | Locked into a salary whether busy or quiet | Locked into scopes and timelines |
| Risk | Cancel any time, no long contract | Recruitment risk, notice periods, sick leave | Long contracts, account changes, scope creep |
Hire cost is base salary plus employer National Insurance and the minimum pension contribution, using Glassdoor's UK senior designer range of £39,798 to £55,353. It excludes recruitment fees, software, equipment and cover for holiday or sick leave. The agency range is what we see clients comparing us against, not a published benchmark.
If you have to get this signed off, here's the arithmetic.
£1,750 a month is £21,000 a year, against roughly £48,000 to £65,000 for a full-time designer once employment costs are counted. A single agency project quote starts around £3,000, so whatever you'd have spent on six or seven one-off briefs buys twelve months of continuous capacity instead. Month one is £2,500 including onboarding. After that it's £1,750, and it stops the month you tell us to stop.
One thing to be straight about, because a careful reader will spot it anyway. A full-time hire gives you all of one person. This gives you a share of a senior designer's week, capped at three clients so that share stays meaningful. If your design demand genuinely fills a full week every week, hire someone. If it doesn't, you're paying a salary for the gaps.

Everything runs through a dedicated board in Trello or ClickUp, whichever suits your team, with four columns:
As soon as a card is approved, the next one starts.
All requests come through the board rather than WhatsApp, email or Slack. One place means nothing gets lost.
A request is a single, self-contained output. One pitch deck, up to around 15 slides. A product data sheet. A landing page banner in two sizes. One email newsletter layout. Three social graphics for a single campaign counts as one request too, not three.
"All assets for our upcoming campaign" becomes several requests, queued in priority order. "Redesign our sales deck and make matching social graphics" is two. A "can you also quickly" added mid-task gets queued as the next request.
Requests without a clear brief get parked and a question raised on the card before work starts.
The better the brief, the closer the first draft. Each card should say:
Work doesn't stall waiting for a check-in. The next card starts the moment one is approved.
Simple requests come back in 2 to 3 working days, complex ones like decks and brochures in 5 to 7, revisions in 24 to 48 hours per round. These are the windows we work to, Monday to Friday, UK business hours.
Three clients is the cap, which is what makes it possible for the same designer to hold your brand properly rather than reload it every time a card comes in.
We review your brand kit, audit what assets exist and what's inconsistent, set up your board, and agree how requests and feedback work. It takes about a week.
No brand guidelines? We work from whatever exists: your website, previous designs, or a rough direction. We can build the guidelines as an early request.
Onboarding finishes with a real request delivered and approved, as a working test of the whole process.
From there it runs continuously. You add requests, we work them in your priority order, you review on the board.
Our Head of Design has over 15 years' experience and does the work on every card. Your assigned project manager runs scheduling so nothing sits in the queue. That's the only layer between you and the work.

Both plans are monthly rolling. Billing runs on a 31 day cycle from the day you sign up. Pause with no notice and unused days are banked. Cancel with five working days' notice before renewal.
Each additional brand on Plus needs a one week onboarding window, at no extra cost, while your existing queue carries on. We'd suggest a soft cap of four brands on one Plus subscription.
£1,187.50. That's the £750 onboarding, which isn't refundable because the work is done, plus the 25% of the first month we keep. Stop in week one and the rest comes back, no questions asked.
After month one, plans are non-refundable but you can cancel at the end of any billing period with five working days' notice.
We design in Figma, the full Adobe Creative Suite and Canva, and deliver in whatever format suits your team.
If a request touches one of those, we flag it and talk about handling it separately.

Yes. Betta Webs takes unlimited requests and unlimited revisions on both plans. The only limit is how many are active at once: one on Design Partner, two on Plus. One guardrail on revisions: if a brief changes significantly mid-revision, with a new direction, new messaging or a new format, we treat the updated version as a new request rather than a continuation. We always flag that rather than absorb it quietly.
Nathan Denny, Betta Webs' Head of Design, on every request. The same person learns your brand and stays on your account, which is only possible because the service is capped at three clients.
Simple requests get a first draft in 2 to 3 working days. Complex ones like decks, brochures and multi-asset packs take 5 to 7 working days. Revisions come back in 24 to 48 hours per round, Monday to Friday, UK business hours.
We work in queue order and don't offer rush turnarounds. If something is time-sensitive, flag it on the card and move it to the top of your queue. We pick it up as soon as the active task is finished.
Because onboarding is real work. We review your brand kit, audit your assets, set up your board, agree how briefing and feedback work, and deliver a first live request. It's what makes everything after it faster.
Not a problem. We work from whatever exists: your website, previous designs, examples you like, or a rough direction. Where guidelines are missing entirely we can build them during onboarding or as an early request.
Design Partner covers one brand. Design Partner Plus covers multiple, with no extra fee per brand. Each new brand needs a one week onboarding window before its requests go live, and your existing queue keeps running through it.
Billing runs on a 31 day cycle. Use 21 days then pause and you have 10 days banked, waiting whenever you restart. No notice needed, just tell us.
No. Active capacity is a monthly allowance, not a credit balance, so an unused request slot doesn't carry over. Banked days from a pause are the exception and always carry.
Fine. There's no minimum usage. If things are quiet your queue just stays short, and you can pause and bank the days.
Depends what you mean. New brand guidelines, updated templates and consistent rollout across your assets, yes. Logo design and full brand identity sit outside the subscription because they need their own brief, timeline and process. That's a separate conversation.
Yes, either direction, at your next renewal date. Just let us know before then.
Betta Webs is a HubSpot Platinum Solutions Partner, so when your design work connects to your website, campaigns or CRM we already understand the context. You work with the Head of Design directly rather than through an account manager. And client numbers are capped, which most subscription services don't do.
If design has become the thing slowing your marketing down, this is the version that starts without a hire or a scoping round.
On the call, Nathan looks at what you're producing now and where the gaps are, and you'll get a straight answer on whether a subscription fits or whether you'd be better off with a project. Half an hour, and you don't need anything prepared.
